Hip-hop has been in a decline for years. Ever since hip-hop was sold out to the big bad corporations, it has been turned from a rebel form of expression for the youth, poor and unheard, into a sing dance forum to sell you soda and ringtones. As anyone trying to follow the American dream, Im also wishing to get paid, but, we must learn everything comes at a price. While rappers have been trading the pjs for mansions and their hooptys for bentley coupes, they have also been trading in hip-hop’s soul. This past few years have been boring in terms of mainstream hip-hop. Thank GOD for the emergence of the internet as a viable source for alot of “washed up” or new acts to use to get out there. I miss the good ol days when the radio played WHOEVER WHOMEVER WHATEVER when it came to music. So I ask you guys, was it worth it? None of you chumps are selling. Soulja Boy blaming Nas for killing hip-hop meanwhile his novelty has worn out. Think of a new dance you bitch ass nigga to make us look like monkeys for these white people.
